For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned. Matthew 12:37

God created everything by the Word and because we share His DNA, he expects us to do the same. To live by the Word, to resist the enemy by the Word, to obtain the promise by the Word. To stop the mouth of the lion by the Word. In fact, God expects us to learn from Him and do everything by the Word.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.  He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it…And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. John 1:1-5, 14

In the passage above, Jesus was introduced as the Word. We therefore know that the Word works because of what Jesus has done. The Word work because the life of Jesus is in it. Jesus said, that the words that I have spoken to you they are spirit and they are life (John 6:63b).

The ninth month is very significant in the life of a pregnant woman because it is when she gives birth to another life (a child). Although characterized with pains, it is the month of fulfilment of joy. A joy that comes with a life being born. The last thing a woman does to give birth is generally known as PUSH. On the other hand, the term PUSH is used as an acronym for Pray Until Something Happens. It therefore behooves on us, if we want to see the glory promised revealed, to stand up, pull all the recourses together and pray until something happens. It all depends on us. Jesus has done His part. He has fully paid the price more than 2000 years ago.

You Give Birth to What You are Pregnant With. What are you pregnant with? The Word or the world. We bring forth consistently with what we fed ourselves with. The scripture admonished us to be pregnant with two things, the word and the spirit. To birth the promise, we must utilize all our waking moments to fill ourselves with both. This is what will prime us to connect with the infinite reservoir of the heavens. Let the word dwell richly in you. Study the word, memorize the word, meditate on the word and speak the word. The devil has no chance.

Do not be drunk with wine, be filled with the Spirit (Ephesians 5:18). The opening words of this passage ‘do not’ is suggesting a conscious choice. This is based on the understanding that there are two possible choices. It is encouraging us to apply our heart and decide. It is calling on us to be determined, to make effort. It is telling that it does not happen by chance or accident that we have to stand up for it. Brothers and sisters, don’t let the world feed you with junk through media. Make a conscious choice to feed yourself with the right stuffs; the word and the spirit.

Do not mistaken you circumstances for your potion. One of the reasons the enemy try to overwhelm us with fights is for us to begin to accept our circumstances as our fate. Your situation today, however difficult it is, is not your potion. Your portion is what Jesus has paid for. God has the final say. Do not accept anything not in the word. Be skillful in rejecting whatever He has not promised you and learn to enforce your right in Christ.

It all because of Jesus. The basis of our faith is Jesus. He has done everything needed to be done for us. It is our faith in Him that is the basis of everything. God has made Him who knew no sin to become sin for us and through him we have become the righteousness of God (2 Corinthians 5:21)

Brothers and sisters, let us therefore come boldly to His throne today shedding every weights of sins, take on the mantle of His righteousness and the Lord will listen to our cry of faith. What is it that is troubling you, there is a promise in the scripture that matches every challenge. Look for the promise, believe the promise, speak the promise and receive the promise. It’s all yours.
